The white gold ‘Officer’ style case is set with 194 diamonds totalling 1.01 carats, set using a technique called ‘flamme’ whereby the diamonds are set in staggered rows to enhance the scintillation. The stunning translucent blue flinqué enamel dial features a hand-guilloched radial pattern, the minute repeating automatic movement with 22k gold micro-rotor has two classic gongs to transmit the superbly tuned repeating sound for which Patek Philippe have become famous, it is activated by the slide on the band and repeats the elapsed hours, quarter hours and minutes with remarkable acoustics.
