Lot Essay

This rare and very attractive Jules Jürgensen split seconds chronograph represents a perfect opportunity for the serious connoisseur and would make an exceptional addition to any collection.

Among the world's greatest watchmakers of the 18th and 19th centuries, members of the Jürgensen family, notably Urban and Jules, greatly contributed to the development of watchmaking. They worked alongside other horological geniuses of the age such as Houriet, Breguet and Arnold.
