An Imari fluted cylindrical brushpot painted and gilt to the exterior with panels of ho-o in flight among flowers and trees, all on a ground of flowerhead lozenge panels, demi lotus heads and stiff leaves, the interior rim with hanging floral pendants -- 7in. (18cm.) high.
