Formed as a shell, with a scrolling acanthus handle mounted with ribbon-tied laurel wreaths, raised on three ball feet, the front engraved with a presentation inscription in Russian 'O.P.V.V.O. / To the Krestovskoe and Tsarkoselskoe / Pigeon Shooting Range / Prize of P.S. Eliseev / 18/V/1908', marked under base with ‘K. Fabergé’ in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial warrant and with workmaster’s initials
