A RARE BLUE AND WHITE BRUSH POT CHINA, QING DYNASTY, DATED TO THE SECOND YEAR OF THE DAOGUANG REIGN WITH A THIRTEEN-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The base bears a thirteen-character mark reading 'Made in the second year of the Daoguang reign (1822), imitating the style of Shōzui Gorōdayū ([the Japanese 'Xiangrui' ware)]'.
