Gli ornati delle pareti, ed i pavimenti delle stanze dell'antica Pompei incisi in rame. Naples: Stamperia Regale, 1822.
A magnificent work reproducing in large plates the wall decorations and mosaics discovered at Pompei and Herculaneum, ‘puo fare seguito alle Antichita di Ercolano [1757-1792]’ (Furcheim). First published 1796-1808 in three parts, the first two presenting fifty plates each, and the third a series of thirteen plates of larger dimensions. Among the 25 Italian engravers involved in production of the work were R. Aloja, G. Azzerboni, C. Cataneo, N. Cesarano, G. Guerra, Fiorillo, D. Casanova, F. Giomignani, A. Lamberti, Scarpati, and A. Zaballi. This 1822 reprint is unknown to Furcheim and Garcia y Garcia.
