A FRENCH PROVINCIAL CHESTNUT ARMOIRE, 19th century

Carved and high-lighted with brass studs, the frieze with interlaced stylised foliate lozenges and centred by a panel dated 1848, enclosed by a pair of panel doors each with a reliquary supported by angels, on an urn with a cartouche, flowers and stylised animals with a simulated drawer below and between similarly-carved stiles, on scroll feet
