Veneered in scarlet tortoiseshell and inlaid with a marquetry of cut-brass in designs of interlaced foliate scrolls, the stepped superstructure with a pierced gallery enclosed by a cartouche-shaped panel door with a drawer below and flanked by four drawers to either side, the undulating lower part fitted with a long drawer, on cabriole legs headed with espagnolettes trailing to scroll feet
