A Russian porcelain (I.P.F.) plate
painted en grisaille to the centre with a full length portrait of Flora on a shaded red ground within an hexagonal egg and dart panel, the well with a gilt key pattern below winged masks and scrolls, the pale blue/grey ground border reserved with three roundels of putti, panels of sphinx and mythical beasts and foliage, gilt and iron red Nicholas II cypher above the date 1903 -- 24cm. diam. (extensively damaged and repaired)
