Lot Essay

Compare to a tianbai-glazed stem bowl with incised dragons also incised with a four-character Xuande mark on the interior, but of smaller size (10.9 cm. diam.), in the collection of Palace Museum, Taipei, illustrated in Catalogue of the Special Exhibition of Selected Hsüan-te Imperial Porcelains of the Ming Dynasty, Taipei, 1998, p.224, pl.no. 85.
