NOTE:
The recipient may have been Cheng Shewo (1898-1991), courtesy name Xiji, also known as Hanxun. Originated from Xiangxiang, Hunan and born in Nanjing, Cheng was a prominent journalist and educator whose influence on the development of modern Chinese journalism was profound. He helped establish nearly twenty newspapers and periodicals, championed journalism education, and founded journalism schools in Beiping and Guilin. In 1955, he established the World Journalism Vocational School in Taipei, now Shih Hsin University.
