Introduced in 2005, the Lange 1 Time Zone is a superb demonstration of A. Lange & Söhne's ability to combine technical sophistication with exceptional clarity and ease of use. Building upon the iconic asymmetrical layout of the original Lange 1, the model incorporates a second time-zone display through two eccentric dials, each accompanied by its own day/night indicator. Thanks to an ingenious adjustment system, the wearer can effortlessly designate the principal display to show either home time, local time while travelling, or any other selected time zone. A pusher at 8 o'clock advances the city ring and the second time-zone display simultaneously in one-hour increments, while the signature oversized date remains automatically synchronised with the main time display.
