Descrizione dettagliata lotto

The Little Lange 1 Moonphase “Soirée” Ref. 826.033 was launched in 2011 as a special edition limited to just 50 pieces, and the present example bears the final number of that series, “50”. Cased in pink gold and measuring 36.8 mm in diameter, the watch is framed by 58 brilliant-cut diamonds of Top Wesselton VVS quality, weighing approximately 0.9 carats, their fire contrasted against the soft iridescence of a light grey mother-of-pearl dial. The dial, crafted from solid silver with a mother-of-pearl foundation, presents the Lange 1's signature asymmetric layout: an off-centre hour and minute display, subsidiary seconds with stop-seconds, the outsize date, and a power-reserve indicator of 72 hours. At the lower right, the moon-phase display completes the composition—so accurate that it requires a correction of just one day every 122.6 years.

Powering the watch is the in-house, manually wound Calibre L901.9. Although the movement made its debut in 2009, its application in limited editions or special variants remains notably rare, a detail that elevates the present watch beyond its already considerable scarcity. The combination of the Soirée's jewel-like case, its poetic moon-phase complication, and the exclusivity of its limited production places this watch among the most refined and coveted of A. Lange & Söhne's modern creations.
