The subject of fauna makes up the largest group, with seventeen studies, followed by twelve landscapes and nine figures. There are also three portraits, one genre scene, and four pieces of various other subjects, with pencil as the principal medium. Notable drawings include landscapes of Le Grand-Lemps, views of waterfalls, and a portrait of the artist's sister Andrée on horseback.
