Executed circa 1936

Christian Bérard designed the costumes for a Symphonie Fantastique by Berlioz (choreographed by Massine). It was presented in London at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden on 24th July 1936 by the Ballets Russes du Colonel de Basil. (2)
