Descrizione dettagliata lotto

Work authenticated in accordance with the process established by the Diego Giacometti Estate.

This model was created by Diego Giacometti in 1951 to mark the fiftieth birthday of his brother Alberto. Alberto was particularly fond of this creation and would remark, with poetic imagery, that “the horses were galloping through the forest, still foaming at the mouth.”
