of part-fluted moulded oblong form, on shell, bracket and lion's paw feet and with a rising curved spout, ebonised wood bracket handle, gadroon, shell and foliate everted rim and part-fluted domed hinged cover with fluted oblong wood finial, the body decorated with a frieze of horizontal fluting and engraved with two crests with mottos above, maker's mark indistinct, Dublin 1818 - 4¾in. (12cm.), 15oz. gross.
