A Victorian silver-gilt-mounted clear glass claret jug,
the globular body engraved with an overall design of stars, the beaded mount enhanced with grotesque masks, fruit and foliage, with a fruit and foliate-decorated bracket handle and similarly-chased flattened hinged cover engraved with a crest and with lion rampant and shield thumb piece, John Figg, London 1872, in a plush-lined wooden case - 10in. (25.50cm.); and a set of six glasses also engraved with stars, each with a trailing vine border. (7)
