A Chinese cloisonne and gilt-bronze globular tripod censer with domed cover, Buddhistic lion finial and pierced upright handles, decorated with stylised dragons and phoenix between borders of ruyi-heads, foaming waves and rocks on a turquoise ground, the s-shaped feet with taotie masks, stylised guei dragons and key fret designs -- 20½in. (52.1cm) high, 18th Century, (pitted and minor areas of restoration).
