Shuntei, a concertina album containing thirty leaves in sumi and colour on paper depicting bijin dressed in brightly coloured robes on terraces, playing cards, before painted screens, drinking tea, in gardens, overlooking river landscapes, painting, trying on robes, arranging flowers, playing go, before street stalls and others -- each leaf 11¾in. x 8¼in. (30cm x 21cm), signed and sealed, dated Meiji 30 nen (1897).
