comprising: a vase-shaped flagon with scroll handle and tapering finial, a gilt-lined chalice with knopped stem and a shaped circular paten, each piece engraved with The Holy Monogram within a sunburst cartouche, the reverse of the engine-turned paten with presentation inscription, in a plush-lined fitted case, maker's initials A.& S., Birmingham 1857 - height of flagon 3½in.
