A group of 18th and early 19th century brooches, comprising: a mourning brooch, with enclosed sepia miniature depicting a female mourner standing beside a monument inscribed "Not Lost But Gone Before" the reverse engraved and dated 1785; an oval mourning brooch of plaited hair under crystal with faceted onyx surround; a mourning brooch with foiled garnet surround; an oval mourning brooch with plaited hair; and a comet brooch with later miniature enclosed.
