A Continental gilt metal mounted and cut centrepiecethe circular dish cut with an outer ring of strawberry diamonds and an inner ring of graduating diamonds, attached to the base with a central acanthus leaf cast boss, supported by four gilt swan masks on a strawberry cut base mounted with a gilt metal frame cast with stiff leaf and dart motifs, on four hoof feet -- 38.5cm. diam., 19th century (some wear and minor chips)
