on a flaring foot and with a scroll handle and rising hinged cover with scroll thumb piece, later-decorated with broad vertical flutes interspersed with textured stamped friezes, the underside with later presentation inscription dated 1866, the interior later gilt-lined, maker's initials T.C., a fish above, London 1683 - 6¼in. (15.75cm.), 22oz.
