the hood with arched top and brass ball and spire finials, outset fluted and brass-capped columns, with cross-banded wavy-top trunk door flanked by fluted three-quarter pilasters, on block plinth (piece of moulding detached) with chamfered sides, the silvered dial with recessed strike/silent ring in the arch signed JO.S BARNET Birmingham flanked by engraved cannon, engraved cartouche spandrels, with recessed seconds and calendar rings to the centre with further engraving, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, seatboard and cheekboards replaced -- 93in.
