G.W.R. County Class 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender No. 3827 'County of Gloucester', 3½in. gauge, built to exhibition standard by W.J. Stacey with brazed superheated copper boiler with stainless steel radiant superheaters and fittings including water gauge with glass protector and shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, whistle, steam brake, clack, blowdown and other valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with piston valves and inside Stephenson's link gear, displacement and mechanical lubricators, cab controlled draincocks, fluted connecting and coupling rods, crosshead driven feed pump and by-pass, injector, steam operated brake gear and whistle. Additional details include dummy sanding gear, fine riveting, nickel silver cleading and 'kaowool' lagging, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps. Tender details include riveted steel tank electrostatically resin coated internally, hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, scale lowering pick-up scoop, tank level gauge, tool boxes, tank vents, firing iron rack, steps, hand and lamp irons.
