A well engineered 1in. scale single cylinder two speed three shaft General Purpose Traction Engine built by Chas. Davies Ltd. No.1 Regn No. CD 1972 with brazed copper boiler with water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include cylinder 5/8in. bore x 1in. stroke, foot plate controlled draincocks and pipes, mechanical lubricator, bar type crosshead guides, Stepehnson's link reverse, counterbalanced crankshaft, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spoked, straked wheels with brass hub caps, worm and roller chain steering, damper, winch drum and fairleads, band brake to rear axle, lamps, tool box with padock and dummy boiler mud door, finished in brown and black with yellow and red lining and polished brightwork -- 12 x 18in.
