the larger example of shaped oblong form and with a waved moulded rim, the ground inlaid with a vacant cartouche with a bow and floral and foliate swags above and a bow and musical trophies beneath, maker's mark indistinct, London 1919 - 11½in. (29cm.), the smaller example of shaped oval form and with egg and dart rim, Mappin & Webb, Birmingham 1918 - 9¾in. (25cm.) (2)
