Lot Essay

This camera would appear to date from the late 1930s or 1940s and bears a passing resemblence to the Ensign Multex. The 35mm. film transport mechanism is sophisticated and well-constructed. The construction of the film holding chamber incorporates a film cutter and shutter to prevent light entering the main camera body and a screw allows the exposed film to be removed.
