A four-page typescript letter, signed on Warner Bros./Spector, 444 Riverside Drive, Suite 105, Burbank, California 91505 headed paper, September 17th, 1975 to Godfrey Isaac telling him that he agreed to do an interview for People Magazine as a favour to cinema-photographer Haskel Wexler whose son Mark would be doing the interview and stipulating the five conditions under which he consented to do the article:
1. The right to see the story before it was printed
2. The right to pick the pictures out
3. A question and answer interview only
4. Nothing to be printed without my permission and no pictures to be used without my permission
5. Total approval by me to anything regarding the story and the right to refuse permission for it to be printed and telling Isaac that none of the five conditions were adhered to and in addition to that ..a tremendous amount of libelous and damaging statements were made including a statement that my three children were adopted...and I consider that just to be one of the most damaging and libelous statements made which could result in great emotional harm to my children and myself... asking Mr Isaac if he can bring a suit against the magazine and telling him ...I am extremely upset with this article and honestly and sincerely feel it can do great harm to my children and my business relations.. signed ..Warmest Personal Regards, Philip adding a post script, signed love Philip, 4pp.
