The Apple Shop mural, designed by The Fool in 1967 with the approval of The Beatles, to advertise the presence of the shop in Baker Street, only remained in evidence for five months as on May 18th, 1968, due to the objections of local residents and shop keepers, it was painted over and replaced by a plain coat of white paint.
