A George III teapot
of oval form, with tapering angular spout, polished wood scroll handle and flat hinged cover with oval ivory finial, bright-cut with friezes and swags of flowers and foliage and with two oval cartouches with bow surmounts, one engraved with an armorial, the other with a crest, William Vincent, London 1778 - 4¾in. (11.50cm.), 14oz. gross.
