of tapering circular form and with a beaded rim border, moulded rim and fluted scroll handle, bright-cut with friezes of stylised foliage, the front engraved with a monogram within a wreath cartouche surrounded by flowers and foliage, apparently with no maker's mark, London 1781 - 4¾in.
