An Arita blue and white saucer dish painted to the centre with a riverside house before a boat with its sails unfurled, the rim with demi florets and foliage -- 6in. (15.2cm) diam, 17th century, signed Dai-min seika nensei, (slight fritting and hairline rim cracks); and another dish painted in the early Kraak style with a bird on a riverbank within roundels of flowers and precious objects -- 5¾in. (14.5cm) diam, 18th century, (rim chip).
