FIRST COMPLETE AND ILLUSTRATED EDITION of the Notitia Dignitatum, a list of high officials of the Roman empire compiled in about 400 A.D. Also printed are a tract by Andrea Alciati on Roman military and civil organization, the topographical description of Rome by Publius Victor, and a collection of enigmas in the form of a dialogue, the Altercatio Adriani Augusti et Epicteti philosophi.
