A Victorian three-piece afternoon tea service and a Victorian hot water jug,
the former decorated with part spiral-fluting and with moulded rims, the teapot with fluted rising curved spout, ebonised wood bracket handle and part spiral-fluted domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, engraved with a crest with motto and medal beneath, the similarly-fluted moulded circular sugar basin engraved with the same crest, the similarly-fluted moulded circular cream jug with elaborate triple scroll handle and also engraved with the same crest, D.& J. Wellby, London 1881 and 1882 - height of teapot 4¾in. (12cm.), the spiral-fluted baluster hot water jug on a beaded rising circular foot engraved with the same crest, with an ebonised wood scroll handle and beaded spiral-fluted domed hinged cover with baluster finial, also D.& J. Wellby, London 1883 - 8¾in. (22.25cm.), 38.50oz. gross. (4)
