A Victorian three-piece tea service
of part spiral-fluted tapering moulded oval form and with gadrooned everted rims, each decorated with a broad frieze of flowers and foliage and with vacant cartouches, the teapot with rising curved spout, polished wood scroll handle and fluted oval wood finial, the gilt-lined milk jug and sugar basin with bracket handles, W.& G. Sissons, London 1894 - height of teapot 5¼in. (13.25cm.), 34.75oz. gross.
