A Spode claret ground chocolate cup, cover and stand
with raised gilt exotic birds among leafy branches between white bands gilt with beads, the cover and stand decorated with bands of fruiting vines, with white and gilt winged horse head and hoof handles and butterfly finial, pattern 3893, iron red mark -- 13cm. high, circa 1830 (finial restored, possibly made up and restored chip to rim)
