A pair of German porcelain urns and covers
the covers forming candle holders when reversed, each painted with vignettes of 18th century couples in landscapes below moulded purple drapery swags suspended from wreaths and female mask handles, the covers, feet, columns and stepped bases with black and gilt marbled decoration -- 28cm. high, late 19th century (one finial repaired, very minor flaking)
