embroidered in coloured silks and couched gilt threads with flower-filled vases, emblems, a bowl of peaches, a frog, the upper section with Taoist emblems--162 x 43in., Chinese, 19th century and a decorative banner of red wool with three 'ribbons' embroidered in white and shades of blue silks and couched gilt threads, the central one with a dragon over sea-wave, the lateral ones with flowers, attached at top with shaped header and at base, and four further embroidered lappets at bottom, possibly theatrical-13½in x 63in., Chinese, 19th century
