woven with a self-coloured pattern and brocaded with coloured silks and gilt threads with a 'loose' design of twisting stems of flowers and buds--40in. square, 18th century and a pieced border of silk brocade woven with a design of large purple, blue and yellow feathery flowers, edged with silver braid, probably originally trimming to a cope-12 x 108in., circa 1735
