A Chinese bowl painted to the interior in underglaze blue with goats in a rocky landscape within a borer of the Three Friends with festive objects hanging from the branches, the exterior in famille rose and gilt with roundels of further goats grazing and seated in rocky tree strewn landscapes alternating with vases of flowers, dishes of pomegranates and precious objects on a yellow scraffiato ground -- 6in. (15.2cm) diam, underglaze blue Daoguang seal mark and of the period, (small rim chips).
