A matched pair of late Victorian silver-topped clear glass cologne bottles,
the spherical bodies cut with a hob-nail pattern design and with star-decorated bases, the domed detachable covers die-stamped with grotesque masks, birds and scrolling foliage, each with a vacant cartouche, maker's initials J.D. & W.D., Chester 1898 and 1901 - 5½in. (14cm.) and slightly smaller. (2)
