An 18th Century Irish Provincial salver
of shaped circular form, on scroll feet and with a rococo shell and foliate border, the ground engraved with an armorial surrounded by flowers and foliage, with crest above, the underside impressed: "Sterg." but with no other apparent marks, probably Cork circa 1760 - 11¼in. (28.50cm.), 29oz.
