A Roman translucent pale aubergine streaked glass amphora, with piriform body and everted mouth with inward-folded rim, the lower half of the body decorated with a fine spiralling trail, twin vertical handles applied to the rim and shoulder, multicoloured iridescence -- 4¾in.
