An Attic black-figure pottery lekythos, the body with seated woman between two 'eyes', rays around the shoulder, black glazed foot, rim and handle -- 5¾in. (14.6cm.) high; another, the body decorated with a quadriga, a stayr in front and three standing draped figures behind, black glazed lower body, rays around the shoulder, neck and handle missing -- 6¼in. (16cm.) high, both circa 500-475 B.C.; a South Italian gnathia ware skyphos, the tapering body decorated with white painted garlands and central foliate motif; another skyphos, similar, both handles missing -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) and 2½in. (6.4cm.) high respectively, both late 4th Century B.C.; a Corinthian pottery aryballos, the spherical body with an encircling frieze of five helmeted warriors carrying large circular shields, against a background of dots, rim damaged -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high, 575-550 B.C.; and an Etrusco-Corinthian pottery alabastron, the body with a pair of brown encircling bands, dots between, rays around the neck -- 3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) high, 600-575 B.C.
