A large group of mainly glazed composition amulets including twenty wedjat-eye amulets of various materials -- 1¼in. (3.1cm.) long max., Third Intermediate/Late Period (1070-332 B.C.); eight hard stone heart scarabs, one in feldspar -- 2.4cm. high av.; a wooden amulet of Re-Horakhty, the falcon-headed deity, squatting, wearing sun-disc headdress -- 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) high; and glazed composition amulets including two White Crowns of Upper Egypt, two Red Crowns of Lower Egypt, a staircase, djed pillar, tyet amulet, wadj-sceptres; animal amulets including a lion, baboon, ram, falcons, double falcons, snake, crocodile, profile head of a bull and a disc with a Bes head, reverse with wedjat-eye; striding deities including Tueris, Thoth and a feline-headed goddess, the back pillar with an inscription reading 'recitation by Bastet and may she give...', lower part missing; and glazed composition amulets of Bes, heads of Bes, Shu, Isis and Horus, Ptaichos and three kneeling ithyphallic dwarfs -- 2in. (5cm.) high max., mainly Late Period/Ptolemaic; and a group of steatite scarabs and hardstone scaraboids -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) long max., Middle Kingdom and later(a lot)
