A gesso-painted cartonnage fragment, with hieroglyphic inscriptions reading 'a gift which the King makes to Osiris, the good god, that offerings should be made for the Lord of the House.....' and with the names and titles of Nephthys and Osiris above, decorated with a falcon with outstretched wings, wearing a sun disc, overlapping wings below, with ochre, red, blue and green colouring, mounted and with wall attachment -- 24¼in. (61.6cm.) high, Dynasty XXI (1070-945 B.C.)
