A painted pottery shabti for Nioutnakht, the Divine priest of Amun and Chief of the Mysteries of Amun-Ra, the white body with black painted details including a central column of hieroglyphs, black painted wig, carrying seed basket behind, mounted -- 2½in. (6.4cm.) high, Dynasty XXI, (1070-945 B.C.), from Thebes, Deir el-Bahri (Cache of the priests of Amun); a similar clay shabti with black painted details, for Kha-Amun, with central column of hieroglyphs, wearing fillet tied around the head and carrying seed basket behind, repaired at neck -- 3¼in. (8.3cm.) high, Dynasty XXI (1070-945 B.C.); two green glazed composition shabtis for Nakht-Bastet, with inscribed back pillar reading 'The Osiris Nakht-Bastet born to Ta-Kha-beshy', wearing plaited beards, mounted; another similar, uninscribed, glaze worn, mounted -- all 3in. (7.7cm.) high, Dynasty XXX (380-343 B.C.); a blue glazed composition overseer shabti, wearing short kilt, with right arm by his side; a blue glazed shabti, carrying seed basket behind, repaired -- both 3½in. (8.8cm.) high, Dynasty XXI (1070-945 B.C.); another larger, similar, with traces of central column of inscription -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) high, Dynasty XXI-XXII (1070-712 B.C.); and a shiny turquoise glazed shabti, on integral square base, with back pillar, face damaged, repaired -- 5in. (12.7cm.) high, Late Period/Ptolemaic, 7th-1st Century B.C.
