A steatite cosmetic palette in the form of the Nile bolti fish, with oval depression in the centre, long dorsal fin above and two short fins below, fins incised on both sides with short hatched lines, concentric circles at eye, scales delineated by shallow worn incisions, slight damage to nose -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) long; a squat alabaster kohl jar, on circular foot, the tight neck with everted rim, damage to rim -- 2¼in. (5.8cm.) high, both New Kingdom (1550-1070 B.C.); two miniature Nile silt ware dishes -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) diam. max., circa Dynasty XVIII (1550-1307 B.C.); and a Roman pottery lamp, the discus with figure of Horus in relief, eating from a jar, palm tree behind him, pierced, with single spout, handle missing -- 2½in. (7cm.) long, circa 1st Century B.C/A.D.
